Departures from Terminal 3
Departures in this terminal building go to destinations throughout the world. The only BA flight from here is the Miami one. The check- in desks are situated on the ground floor. If you are driving in, as you approach and pull up to offload your passengers, you are in front of the departures area. The building looks like three sides of a rectangle - the left hand and central areas are where the departures check- in desks are situated.
Once again, to find the correct check in desk, look at the screens. This is the busiest of the terminals and you need to leave plenty of time. In busy periods it is not that unusual to find huge queues I'm afraid!
The check-in desks are easy to find here, the departures lounge is less easy as you have to go upstairs. There are escalators and lifts to take you to the upper floor. Once again, do not get distracted by the shops upstairs. The lounge is more or less directly above Zone C if that helps!!
